I love this Man

He is so handsome I couldn't resist taking a picture.

He is so funny.

He tries to be serious,

but cant and cracks a smile because I am funny.

He's quirky and goofy.

He tries to pretend that he's not a HOTT supermodel.

But I know the TRUTH!

This is my Hott man, my hubby, my best friend and he can always make me SMILE!

I sure do love him!

He always finds a way..

to make my day!

He brought me a Carmel Apple Cider and a Danish for breakfast on his way to school..Perfect for a rainy day inside.

How did I get so lucky?

BYUH Volleyball

On Tuesday Night our Alumni, BYU-Hawaii, was in our neck of the woods. Actually they were pretty close, they were playing Evan's Grad school, Cal Baptist University. So among the crowd of Baptists cheering for their team, you could hear little ole' me cheering away for my BYU-H Seasiders. They won 3-2, but just barely. I was only going to stay for two games, but after not knowing whether they were going to win, I had to stay! It was seriously a crazy intense game. Almost as intense as a scary movie! We were glad we could support our lady Seasiders as they were far away from their crowd of fans and support! We took great pride in being BYU-Hawaii Alumni!

General conference day 2

Message meant for me-an answer to my prayers:

Thank you Elder Hales for following the Spirit and speaking the words I needed to hear. Even in your illness. What an amazing example. This is just a glimpse of his talk-what stood out to me. Read it for yourself. I dare you!

Elder Robert Hales-WAITING ON THE LORD. 

All these things shall give thee experience and shall be for thy good {D&C 122:7}.What does it mean to wait upon the Lord? That means have a hope. Planting the seed of faith. It means praying as the Savior did. Pondering in our hearts and receiving the Holy Ghost. Stand fast and press forward with Faith. Thy will be done O Lord not mine.  Sincere prayer is answered somehow, someplace. His answers will come. Let us not give up on the Lord. He knows your sacrifices and sorrows. As we wait upon the Lord we are becoming Saints of the Lord. In my Gethsemane and in yours we are not alone. Thy will be done and return with honor.

Surprise Date Saturday

Friday morning went like this via text:

me to ev: Do you work Saturday?

ev: no

me: got any plans Saturday?

ev: no

me: Ok I am taking you on a surprise date.

ev: where

me: Guess you will have to wait and see.

The night was filled with many guess and questions. I had to throw him off by saying you have been there before{not knowing for sure}, then saying I think you have been there, maybe you haven't. I told him its inside and outside {which is slightly true}. I told him we can't forget the beach towels {this one was the most random, but I had to throw him off bad}.

Hint #1: We stopped at a gas station to get gas and I bought a water bottle and gave it to him.

Hint #2: We stopped at Henry's Market and I gave him an orange.  

Hint #3: I emailed him this.

Where did we end up???

Yep. I surprised Evs with great seats to his first professional soccer match--LA GALAXY-- It was fan appreciation night--so we got there early and alot of fun things were going on. We had such a fun time!

{David Beckham didn't play that great, he's really not one of my favorite players, but apparently he is up on the "popular" scale on the LA Galaxy fan base}

I love his smile and his expression {his eyes tell it all} in the above and below picture. He is just so excited!!

Because it was fan appreciation night they were giving away free things. I think Evs made out like a bandit. He won a set of Adidas Golf Clubs! No, he doesn't golf other than the occasional driving range visit, but he would sure love to work on his swing.

LA Galaxy vs. Real Salt Lake

The match was good. I felt that they played on one side more than the other. I feel like at the professional level they should switch the ball and keep it moving instead of being so predictable. But thats just little ole' me talking smack. All in all it was an amazing match!

Oh ya we are sexy, especially my hat!

Family Time

It was such a wonderful day. Its days like these that I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for all the many wonderful people in my life and for the happiness I have in my life. Its days like these that make the hard times worth it.                                  

Our morning started out with sleeping in until 8:45. That is certainly a record for me. Then we began watching the first session of General Conference.

Then..we headed to Naders soccer game. It was a family affair.

 Bria got an attitude and Evs took her shoes..She threatened to throw the baby book at him

 This series of events goes like this:

Fall down on grass

Bria runs over to see whats up and Ru tells her "Daddy wake up" as she slaps Josh's face. 

 Josh doesnt wake up up and Ru continues to slap him.

 "Daddy wake up!! Wake up!"slapping Josh's face

 I ask, "Ru do you want ice cream?" Her response

"Yay!"

I ask again, "Rubi do you want ice cream?" Her response

"Woo! Ice Cream!"
