Memorial Day Fun

We all hung out at Tony & Michelle's house. We had a BBQ and went swimming. We also celebrated Nadia's belated birthday {she is 8 going on 16}. We had such a blast together. Loved playing with the girls in the pool. I even had Sage & Jade in the pool for a little bit. This Memorial Day made for many memories and much to be grateful for.

The Game of Sardines

Summary: Sardines is like the game Hide-and-Seek, only in reverse! one person hides, and the rest of the players look for the one hidden person. When someone finds the hidden person, they quietly join them in hiding — after a while, the group begins to look like sardines!

We had so much fun playing this game. It was funny trying to keep quiet when someone passing by rips a big fart not knowing anyone is in the room to hear it or someone in the group of sardines hiding lets out a silent stinky one and everyone in the group is trying to contain themselves from giving away the hiding spot.

Saturday is a Special Day!

My Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law are in France for the week. Their four kids are staying with their grandma, so we decided to head down to San Marcos and relieve her for the day. We decided to take them to Saturday in the Park @ Grape Park in Escondido. There was going to be a circus group performing and it was Free so we couldnt pass it up even if it was boring. I told the kids, " This may be boring or it may be completely awesome, but we wont know until we give it a shot." After our time at the park Kade (6) says, "that was AWESOME!" So then we head to the real event for the day. I made the mistake of giving them an OPTION {I was trying to make sure they did what they wanted--bad auntie} to go ice skating or indoor kart racing. All three of them flipped back and forth with what they wanted to do. They couldn't stay on one or the other so I finally took back my second option {yes, aunties can do that} and I told them what we were going to do. I think they were excited much!
