We had a lot of stuff to do. We had to pick up our car from the port in Long Beach and move in on the same day. My Mom and I headed to Long Beach to pick up the car, while Evs and my bro Tony helped move all of our life in my moms car and Tony's Truck. They unloaded it all and boy was it a lot of work to sort everything out. Thanks Tony for all your help! We have so much space in our new apartment its amazing. We really love our 2 bed 2 bath. After moving all of our personal items in, we had to furnish our apartment. It was like being newlyweds all over again because we seriously only had personal items, our clothes and a few bowls and silverware from our move across the ocean. First item of business was to buy a comfy bed. A mattress is not something you can skimp on..theres nothing like sleeping with a spring in your back...Josh and Evs enjoyed this too much! It was just fun to meet up with my bro Josh, Sis Britt, and Rubi just to go shop for stuff for our apartment. We are thankful for them and all of their help. Its nice to be close to family. My Mum has been so much help! She pretty much hooked us up with so much stuff when we got here, she had been stocking up and buying stuff here and there. Thanks Mom, this move wouldn't have been very smooth if you weren't here to help us out and cart us around everywhere. You're the best! We also live very close to family here in Riverside. My Auntie Nancy and Uncle George Ballantyne have also been so helpful. They let us raid their fridge when we hadn't gone grocery shopping yet and had no food and have just been so welcoming to us. They helped us go get our couch and enjoyed such a fun adventure of losing a piece of the couch on the side of the road-haha- its a good thing Auntie Nancy knows everyone and their mom because she had a friend that had rope not too far from where we were. Its been slow getting started again back into a routine but we are happy to be here and happy to be close to family.
